well this weekend i am heading to the magicmum charity ball in athlone....i can hardly wait for saturday morning!! , a fab new guna , hair and make up being doen in the hotel , fake tan done tomorrow night.....i've never been so girly girls

so exciting....

I'm off to the in-laws for the weekend. I really like them though so it's all good.

Dizzy - yes, the pic is of Peanut, he's one of our two youngest. That pic is well over a year old so he's even more of a fluffball now - and he completely rules the roost here. He sleeps on our bed most nights and we reckon he's missing a few bones in his body 'cos he literally just flops around the place, so funny.

Yes....pictures pictures and lots of pictures please.....
MAybe next year we all might make an effort to go!!!!

I am having a dinner porty tonight, I have made chicken liver pate or mushroom pate for starters(have a veggie coming!); Lamb tagine or vegetable moroccan stew for main and a maple strudel baked cheesecake for dessert.
Then when everyone is nice and drunk, I'm going to make them do singstar. I've even got the one with I Will Survive on it

Well we are all limbering up here for a big 5 mile walk in the afternoon.....The school are having a fundraising Cycle/Run/Walk in the afternoon.....I notice they didn't include Crawling as an option....Mmmm not too happy about that. Oh Lord I'd say Im a gonna suffer tomorrow...not to mention aching limbs with the kiddies too.

Racing around the house here trying to get all the housework done so that tomorrow I can sit all day long and recover...LOL

My dinner Porty was a rip roaring success, I actually came so close to peeing myself laughing at one point. Didn't get to bed till 3.30 though and had to be up at 7.30, so well knackered today and I was teaching guitar to reluctant children(I use the bribery method )

Hubby's gone to the match with a friend so I'm home alone on this Sat night, it was last minute so no plans for Mia. Trying to decide if I can be bothered to cook or just order a takeaway.

Morning all. Can't believe it's Monday again tomorrow. Have had a nice quiet weekend down with the in-laws. Went car shopping again yesterday - still haven't picked one out and we haven't definitely decided to get one yet but it is looking more likely. Off to Thurles for the afternoon. Then next weekend we're going up the North to shop which I can't wait for.

We are hoping to head up the north next weekend too, going to Belfast for a photo shoot! Hubby and the kids are coming too so hopefully will do a bit of shopping too.

Where does the weekend go, and to make if worse I am working again on Monday my day of. Can't complain too much the money will come in hand. Still no sign of job for hubby. Has an interview tomorrow, not quite what he wants but its a job so fingers crossed.

Is it a family portrait thingy you're having done? We got the kids done last year and have a lovely pic with them all,eyes open and smiling, hanging in the hall. The shoot was great fun to watch as well.
I think going all the way up north for shopping is my worst nightmare of a day, but with the prices we're being charged, I can totally understand why people do it.

How are the heads after the ball?

I am going up to do a shoot of the Town Hall and the big wheel at dusk. Looking forward to it! Have been to 2in Dublin and got some nice shots.

I couldnt be bothered with the traffic for th shopping either but seeing as we will be up there we said we would have a look around.

Just booked my flight for my cousin hen in London the May bank holiday weekend, going to be some drink drank!!! Can't wait for it! The only thing Iam not looking forward to is its fancy dress - school uniform!! me nd skirts don't happen.

Well ds was babysitting for me last night as I had a music thing and he dumped his boord while I was out. He doesn't seem too upset this time though(did I say he broke up with her 2 weeks ago and was devastated, she was planning to do the dirty on him!)I think it's for good this time, it just had to go out with a fizzle rather than a bang(no pun intended). I'm kinda glad cos he has his junior cert in a couple of months.

So that's my news (just wanted to use that one!)

How'ya all!! On a day off today, thank goodness. DH phoning round c.card company and all the others trying to see what they can do about his repayments. It would appear the car finance peoples don't give a hoot if you've been made redundant.. feckers! Seems you're covered (if you took out a protection plan as DH did) for illness only.

No washing getting dry here today - very misty, not too cold though. Need to get out at some stage to get one more planter for my Stock plants which I bought last week. I got my Sweet William and Bellis (or something) done already, and most of my heathers but still one of those to do. I also bought an Amerylis plant to grow as they were the flowers I had in my bouquet - saw them in B&Q so reckoned I'd give it a try. This was all bought with money I got for my birthday - must be getting old when I prefer to by plants etc rather than clothes!!
